What is online coaching and how does it work?
Online coaching is like having your very own personal trainer in your pocket. Somone who’s there to educate and motivate you throughout your fitness journey. As your coach I will help you avoid the most common mistakes and help you create a customised training program, nutritional plan that’s suitable to your goals and lifestyle. I will provide you with a success blueprint and the exact proven framework you need to change your life. All you need to do is follow the plan, be consistent, be patient and you will see results! We will have weekly, monthly check ins, reassessments to help keep you accountable and on track throughout your journey.
Do I need a gym membership?
Having access to a variety of equipment (barbells, dumbbell’s, racks, etc.) is ideal but not 100% necessary. The necessary equipment needed to perform your program will be based on your experience level. Beginners can see amazing results with minimal equipment and body weight exercises, while intermediate/advanced trainees may need more stimulus.
How soon can I expect to see results?
The initial two weeks will be you adjusting to your program/schedule, although it’s not uncommon to lose weight in the first week (individual results may vary). Generally speaking, it takes at least 4 weeks to see a noticeable difference (BE PATIENT!)
What will I learn during the program?
My goal as your coach it to teach how to implement healthy habits and how to make them fit seamlessly into your lifestyle. You will learn the fundamentals of strength training, nutrition and essentially “how to be healthy”. This is not a diet, or a short-term program, this is a LIFESTYLE!
How is this different from other programs?
The fitness industry is flooded with BS! selling supplements, useless equipment, and cookie cutter programs. This program is personalised by me for YOU! I aim to give you a NO BS approach. We focus on building you a routine and implementing healthy habits, it's the small daily changes over time that will deliver you BIG results. This coaching is about optimising your HEALTH from the inside out. The healthier you are the better you are going to look and feel. We will also address your mindset and implement (meditation/mindfulness).
How often do I need to train?
This will be highly dependent on your goals but more importantly your schedule and availability throughout the week. I recommend most people to commit to a minimum of 3 hours a week in the gym. Each session will be between 45-60 minutes.
What if I don’t know how to perform the exercise?
As your coach I will aim to design a program and exercise selection that is suitable for your experience level. For your convenience each exercise in your program will be linked to both a video demonstration and a detailed description on how to perform each exercise safely and effectively.
What do I need to eat?
I’m a big believer in the food first approach, most if not all of our problems can be solved by changing our approach to nutrition. Throughout your coaching I will be breaking down the importance of energy balance (teaching you about calories intake relation to fat/weight loss) and the importance of getting a balance of each macronutrient (protein, carbohydrates & fats). I will also provide food recommendations + a sample shopping list.
What if I encounter a challenge and how will you help me?
As my online client you have my full 24/7 support. You will have my direct email and mobile number so we will be able to regularly communicate throughout your coaching. Any troubles or challenges you may experience; we will closely together to find the right solutions to help you to continuously progress and stay on track. Rest knowing that I’m just one message or email away.
How often will we interact?
Check ins are weekly but as a client you are more than welcome to message/email me daily for any concerns or feedback you might have (please allow a 24-hour reply window).
How long is the program?
Each program is a minimum 12-week commitment. You will be following a 12-week training program broken up into three four-week blocks. Rome was not built in a day! It’s not uncommon to continue longer than the 12-week period.
